Dope Lemon Dublin

Dope Lemon is Angus Stone’s band (of renowned Australian folk and indie pop duo Angus & Julia Stone). As Angus & Julia Stone have not played in Ireland in over a decade, we are delighted to host this highly anticipated debut performance by Dope Lemon.

Three years ago, Stone, already known in the UK as one half of the celebrated Australian folk-pop duo Angus & Julia Stone, released Honey Bones, his debut as Dope Lemon, in Australia. That record has gone on to amass over 100 million streams since release and has seen Dope Lemon become not just a melting curio of artistic experimentation, but a fully-fledged cultural phenomenon in Stone’s homeland.

Additional content for editors about Dope lemons new album ‘ Rose Pink Cadillac;

Rose Pink Cadillac, is set for release on 12th November 2021.

The album contains the singles Rose Pink Cadillac, Kids FallinIn Love and Every Day Is A Holiday ft. Winston Surfshirt, singles which have already amassed a whopping 30 million streams between them. The welcome return of the alter ego of the maverick Angus Stone, Dope Lemon has also announced rescheduled European dates in March 2022, including a show at London’s O2 Forum on 9th March.

Says Angus Stone “This new DOPE LEMON record ‘Rose Pink Cadillac’ has been an epic frontier to have embarked on. The making of this creation took months of many tireless long nights… plus many bottles of delicious whiskey and treats.

Each time the writing of a new album takes a new chapter out of my life and freezes it in time. The days and months poured into making this record disappear in the blink of an eye, it’s a mix of hard work and pure joy.

The first half of Rose Pink Cadillac represents the daytime DOPE LEMON experience, while the second half is the nighttime world of the lemon where things take a darker turn. The album will come as two picture discs in a gatefold package. See Angus describe the vinyl album HERE

DOPE LEMON aka Angus Stone has amassed over 400 million streams from his two widely acclaimed albums, Smooth Big Cat (2019) which came in at #2 on the ARIA Album charts, and Honey Bones (2016), as well as the Hounds Tooth EP. The release of Honey Bones was an instant-classic and saw Dope Lemon become not just a melting curio of artistic experimentation, but a fully-fledged cultural phenomenon.

Dope Lemon has performed at Falls Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Groovin’ The Moo, Yours and Owls, Fairgrounds, as well as sold out headline tours both nationally and internationally.

He brings Dope Lemon’s unique sound and talent to Ireland for the very first time in March 2022.
